An Introduction to the B4’s 

Living a more sustainable and eco-friendlier lifestyle is a relatively new journey for the B4 Lifestyles Team. When we first started discussing the topic of launching our Brand, we quickly realized that there are many nuances to living that kind of life. And before we endeavored to commit, we first needed to answer the question of "why is sustainable living important," we needed to make sure that we fully understood what it means.

While there are many interpretations of the word Sustainable, we believe that it involves learning how to live with the Earth's resources in mind and that we use them responsibly so that future generations have the chance to live healthy and prosperous life.

It means that we should reduce our reliance on fossil fuels, and minimize our carbon footprint. We should endeavor to use less energy, water, gas, electricity, or any other resource to keep our homes in balance.

So essentially, the term "sustainable living" is an idea or belief about how to live more responsibly on this planet. It is often used interchangeably with "zero waste" although the meaning is slightly different.

Now that you have a starting point for our journey, please note that we have always been aware of the importance of recycling and responsible energy usage. This is the case with most Americans as 86% are aware of the challenges that future generations face but only 38% are actively engaged in trying to offset them.

Our goal, with help from you and the partners we work with is to learn, find, and share what can be done to move us from our “current state” vs. “desired state” lives in a way that makes practical sense.  

Whether it's daily living ideas, sustainable lifestyle or business practices, services we offer or products we recommend and consume the goal is to progress toward a more sustainable life. One that enhances our individual and family lives in the short term and positively impacts our local and global community in the longer term.
